Seed Exchange 2019
Seed Exchange is a two-day festival held at Farm of Ideas at Svanholm, 24-25th August 2019, celebrating the meeting between gastronomy and agriculture.
Christian F. Puglisi and his team are very proud and happy to welcome a strong lineup of high-profile local and international names, who will exchange seeds, share their practice, cook and join the fun.
General admission is free and the festival is open to everyone.

For this celebration, Puglisi will bring together people and seeds from near and afar. Seeds will in fact be exchanged, but more importantly it will also be a space for inspiration and knowledge sharing, as local farmers, producers, seed collectors, enthusiasts and gastronomic stars come together to discuss new sustainable practices. All of it taking place in a casual and festive atmosphere at the farm.
At the heart of the festival sits the Seed Swap space, where everyone is welcome to exchange seeds. Surrounding the Seed Swap space you will find a number of other activities and lots of great food. In the Workshop Tent there will be practical workshops and at the Stage and on Walk The Talk, you can engage in inspiring debates on the farm-to-table approach and sustainable practices in the meeting between farmers and chefs. In the Kids Area, there will be fun activities for the youngest. Also, at the festival site, you'll find plenty of Food Stalls selling organic food and drinks. Last but not least, there will be a lively Marketplace where a wide range of local producers will be selling their organic produce and talking about their approach. Come explore everything from flower seeds and plants to fresh eggs and handmade chocolate!
In addition to the free programme, there will be a number of exclusive dining experiences; BÆST Farm pop-up dinner, an outstanding gastronomic Harvest Picnic in the middle of our fields and to finish of the weekend The First Supper, a long table dinner, cooked by international top chefs in the Barn.
